Important: All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays). Delivery times vary based on your location and the shipping method selected at checkout.

1. Shipping Options & Delivery Times

Standard Shipping

Delivery within 5-7 business days after processing. Tracked service available.

Express Shipping

Delivery within 2-3 business days after processing. Priority handling with tracking.

Gift Shipping

Special gift wrapping available. Includes handwritten note (optional). Same processing time as standard shipping.

2. Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.

Handling Time

Each handmade product requires careful preparation before shipping:

  • Leather journals: 2 business days for conditioning and quality check
  • Handbound books: 3 business days for final inspection
  • Custom orders: Additional 3-5 business days for personalization

Tracking Your Order

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking number and instructions on how to track your package. If you haven't received your tracking information within 5 business days, please contact us at help.artfulwords@gmail.com.

3. Shipping Restrictions

Due to the nature of our handmade products, we currently cannot ship to the following countries:

  • North Korea
  • Syria
  • Crimea Region

Customs & Import Taxes

International customers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. We are not responsible for delays due to customs. For more information, please contact your local customs office.

4. Delayed or Lost Packages

While we make every effort to ensure your order arrives on time, delivery delays can occasionally occur due to factors beyond our control.

If Your Package Is Delayed

Please allow the following additional time before contacting us:

  • Domestic orders: 3 business days beyond estimated delivery
  • International orders: 7 business days beyond estimated delivery

Lost Packages

If your tracking information shows that your package was delivered but you have not received it, please:

  • Check with neighbors or your building manager
  • Verify the shipping address in your order confirmation
  • Wait 24 hours as packages may be marked delivered before arrival
  • Contact your local post office with the tracking number

If the package is confirmed lost, we will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include reshipping the items (if available) or issuing a refund.

5. Special Circumstances

Holiday Shipping

During peak holiday seasons (November-January), please allow additional processing time (up to 5 business days) due to high order volume.

Weather Delays

Severe weather conditions may delay shipments. We will notify affected customers if significant delays are anticipated.
